Best Organic Website Design and SEO - Internet Marketing & Search Engine Optimization Its been many years since the internet, search engines, and internet marketing have been active and everyone of us have used it one way or another. Within the past few years, Google became the number one search engine for consumers. Due to high traffic volume and number of the searches, Google decided to start their advertising business such as AdWard, PPC…. This concept became a new marketing and advertising avenue for many consumers to reach their clients.

As the demand grew many advertising agencies realized the opportunity to help promoting their clients hence new business direction for their companies. So Google and their bright marketing individuals, created their platform, in order for different industries to have exposure, once a search is performed. Then the search became more and more detailed, so you would have an option to find results based on your ip address unless you actually used a location for your finding.

So as you would search for restaurants, you would find restaurants within your area without mantioning any city. Or simply you could search for "restaurant New York", and then you would have a more accurate answer for your search no matter where you are. This began a new challenge for marketing and advertising companies to have a more focused target for their clients.

To begin with you need to understand how your prospective clients would search for you. Then, you need to develop the right content (story) to tell them, in order to be relevant for their search. Next is your focus on the area where you would like to market yourself. Finally, act appropriately and create a budget in order for you to be visible in WWW.

Based on the number of competition and the area you like to be found in, you need to set your marketing budget. In other word, if I like to be found when someone is searching for only the word "food", you will have about 3,760,000,000 results. This means the odds for you to be on the first page of Google is 1 in 3,760,000,000.

Now, lets put this in a new perspective. Assume world wide web (www) is the planet earth. When you have a website, you have an address. Now you would like to tell everyone, who you are, what you do and where you are located. World wide web to Google is the same as real estate. There is only one first page or consider it a prime real estate location in downtown. This is the place that has the highest traffic and visability. Google already designated a certain portion of the page for the advertising (sponsored links) and you can find them either on the top of the page when you see the results or to the right of the page where Pay Per Click advertisments are. In other words, a portion of the real estate (meaning the first page) is taken by the original land owners for their purposes. This leaves the rest (75%) of the front page. Depending on your monitor size or handheld devices when you search for something, you will find 12-14 listings max. on the first page. In other words, the rest of the 3,760,000,000 are not on the first page. This is a very big number of businesses or websites which are not being visible unless you go to the next page of the results and so on...

The fact of the matter is, majority of individuals select one of the top 5 of the result and don't pay much attention to the rest. So if 80% of individuals are only selecting the top 5 (small real estate within downtown), then the challenge becomes to buy into this portion of downtown real estate.

While you keep this concept in mind, if you search in Google for "marketing company", you will have about 143,000,000 results. This is 143 million results. Keep in mind, we are not searching for advertising company or any other words. The question I have is, how can everyone of these companies promise you the first page of Google listing? Google is not their company or they are not the land owner, but they can promise you a portion of someone elses downtown property!

Now you are begining to understand where I am taking you in order to be marketing yourself online. We all receive emails and mails from various firms who can put you on Googles first page for $29.99 a month or for $49.99 you will have 2000 hits per month on your site etc… Do you really believe that?

As I was growing up, I would hear the phrase, "If you want to play with the big boys you better act like the big boys". There is a lot of truth to this. many companies started years ago, and by now they have a good track record and established a presence online. For a new business to be a part of the first page fast, you need to either use your advertising budget for PPC, AdWards…. or other Google related products. Your other choice is to have an organic website design.

Organic sites are designed according to consumer or end-user behavior. Not only that, it needs to be able to communicate with search engine algorythm. This means when you search for an item, somehow your site has already conveyed the message to Google or other search engines, who it is, where it is, what it is all about and what it can offer. This is the reason organic sites are extremely time consuming and costly to generate, but in the long run, because of the way it communicates with the search engines (MSN, Google, Yahoo, Bing….) it will appear within results with minimal advertising budget. Organic designed websites climb up the search engine.

Internet has become a challenge to many advartising agencies. its a fight over the first page real estate (top five of Google listings). A search engine optimization (SEO) strategy for two months is not beneficial in the long run. As soon as you go up, a smart competition will find a way to go further. needless to say, once you apply SEO to your site, it will take a while for you to see the improved web site perfomance. Use your SEO strategy wisely and spread your budget accordingly.

Internet advertising strategy should be designed and managed according to your website strength or weaknesses. In other word, you need to set a budget for Pay-Per-Click, just to gain more traffic for a product or service you offer and not your complete site. Because you focus on a product within PPC, you get better results (ROI). Then by clicking on your link and visiting your site, they will be able to make a better educated decision and learn about the other products you may have to offer.

DO NOT believe in cheap advertising. It will be a total waste of your funds if you do not plan and execute your marketing strategy correctly. Be more clear when communicating with your search engine optimization or internet marketing company. They must evaluate your options and offer you a clear path. DO NOT beleive in "you will be on first page of Google and it will cost you $29.99 per month", as Google does not belong to them. Your $29.99 per month may take 20 years to have result. Once they fail their goal, they will require more funding from you in order to make it happen (only if they have the knowledge of how to).

In summery, the only two factors that effect your internet presence are great website design and affordable marketing budget.

Best internet marketing and advertising strategy: Assign a budget, set a timeline, be prepared for higher traffic, more phone calls, customer service, and most importantly quality product or service, as they should be a part of your big marketing plan.
